Teen girl killed as bike collides with lorry in Klang


SHAH ALAM: A young woman has been killed in an accident after the motorcycle she was riding was hit and run over by a trailer at about 1pm on Tuesday afternoon at Jalan Klang Utama in Klang.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations division), Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the victim was dragged for about seven metres near a beverage factory.

He said the 19-year-old victim was riding a motorcycle travelling from Kapar to Klang.

"Personnel from the Klang Utara fire and rescue station were mobilised to the scene. The victim was confirmed dead on the spot," he said on Tuesday (April 9). - Bernama
